Compute at silicon heat.
Rejected to Nordic air.

N59° Thor AS is an EPC developer of AI-ready data centers across Europe — taking campuses from site selection through engineering, procurement, and construction. An active pipeline of 500+ MW spans Agder (NO2), two large-format sites on the Norwegian west coast, and land positions in Northern Germany, all engineered around direct-to-chip liquid cooling and some of the coldest ambient envelopes on the continent.

01 / What Thor delivers

EPC for data centers — engineered, procured, and built.

N59° Thor AS acts as the EPC counterparty for AI-ready data center campuses: a single accountable delivery partner across engineering, procurement, and construction — with the physics of high-density, liquid-cooled compute designed in from day one, not retrofitted.

E — ENGINEERING

Site & systems engineering

Site selection, grid studies, and full data-center engineering: electrical topology, 800V DC distribution, direct-to-chip cooling loops, mechanical and civil design coordinated across every discipline.

  • Site & grid studies
  • Electrical topology
  • Liquid-cooling design
  • Civil & structural
P — PROCUREMENT

Supply chain & long-lead

Sourcing and contracting of transformers, switchgear, CDUs, chillers, and structural packages — managing long-lead items and vendor risk against a fixed schedule.

  • Transformers & switchgear
  • CDUs & cooling plant
  • Structural packages
  • Vendor management
C — CONSTRUCTION

Build & commissioning

Turnkey construction management from groundworks to Level-5 commissioning. A single delivery counterparty for the tenant, accountable for schedule, budget, and performance.

  • Groundworks & shell
  • MEP installation
  • L1–L5 commissioning
  • Handover to operate
[ BUNDLED ]

Infrastructure + GPU, built and funded together.

Turnkey delivery of the shell, power, and cooling alongside the GPU compute layer — one counterparty, one capital stack, one schedule to first token.

[ SEPARATE ]

Or decoupled — infrastructure only, or GPU only.

Take just the core infrastructure under long-term lease, or contract the GPU compute layer independently. Financing and build scope flex to the tenant's balance sheet.

→ Scope can be contracted end-to-end or by phase. Tenants and operators engage Thor as EPC on Thor-developed sites or on third-party landbanks.

02 / The pipeline

A European pipeline. One engineering standard.

Thor develops AI-ready data centers across Europe. The current pipeline is anchored in Norway's NO2 price zone in Agder — a region combining stable hydro-dominant power, sub-arctic ambient temperatures, and existing high-voltage infrastructure. Two further large-format sites on the Norwegian west coast add capacity in the NO3/NO5 zones, with the second scheduled for grid connection in 2032. In parallel, the group holds data center land in Northern Germany, extending reach into the European core, with further sites under evaluation.

03 / Engineering

800V DC, direct-to-chip, free-cooled by the Nordic sky.

SILICON · ~65°CHOTCOLD PLATECDUDRY COOLERAMBIENTNORDIC AIR · ~4°C AVGCOLD
01

800V DC distribution

Higher-voltage DC distribution reduces conversion stages and copper mass between the transformer and the rack — cutting resistive losses and freeing floor area for compute rather than power gear.

02

Direct-to-chip liquid

Coolant meets heat where it is generated: cold plates mounted directly on GPUs and accelerators. Liquid carries orders of magnitude more heat per unit volume than air, unlocking rack densities that air-cooled halls cannot serve.

03

Nordic free-cooling

Warm coolant returning from the hall is rejected to ambient air that averages a few degrees above freezing. Mechanical chilling becomes the exception, not the rule — driving a low, stable PUE across the year.

04 / Part of N59° Group

One group. Four disciplines.

N59° Thor AS is the data center development arm of N59° Group, working alongside N59° AI AS — the group's data center operator for both own and third-party sites — N59° GridCore S.à.r.l, the Luxembourg financing subsidiary, and N54° Battery GmbH, the German entity building battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Rostock-Laage. Each entity is independent in mandate, unified in engineering standards.
